Round table discussions on repository management challenges and opportunities. The session will be coordinated by Georgia State University law librarians Kris Niedringhaus, Deborah Schander and Pam Brannon . Discussion topics include:

  • Repository Staffing – The challenges and benefits of getting the entire library staff involved in the repository projects on an ongoing basis. Laura Ross, Touro Law Center
  • Is a Law-Only Repository Right For Your School? - The pros and cons of having a shared or standalone IR. Making the decision to split off from a university IR, from proposing it to administration, to creating or migrating your content, and educating faculty and other users on the new IR.   • Running a Law School IR on Shared Hosting - An overview of a cloud-based open source repository solution including advice about shared hosting accounts and selecting open source software. Wilhelmina Randtke, St. Mary University School of Law
