Shelley Dowling served as librarian of the Supreme Court between 1989 and 2003, part of her 45-year career as a law librarian. The Supreme Court Library supports justices and staff by providing them with information spanning federal and state law, British case law, constitutional law, and beyond. Dowling managed the Supreme Court Library collection and provided research and reference services as the Supreme Court Librarian. After retiring in 2003, Dowling brought her expertise to the Wolf Law Library as Senior Reference & Special Projects Librarian in 2004. She worked closely with Library Director Jim Heller on the library’s 2007 renovation and retired in 2010.
