Description
"To the William & Mary Law School, with best regards, Antonin Scalia"
Antonin Scalia served as Associate Justice of the Supreme Court from 1986 to 2016. Before joining the Court, he enjoyed a varied career in private practice, academia, and the federal executive branch. Scalia published widely, using essays and books to lay the foundation for constitutional originalism. His most notable opinions were often concurrences or dissents, in which he frequently disputed his colleagues’ general “jiggery-pokery” and “pure applesauce” reasoning. This signed book, dedicated to the William & Mary Law School, is one of many Supreme Court justice signatures in the rare books Signed Collection.
