Description
"To all the Citizen Lawyers at William & Mary's Law School -- Liz Cheney"
Liz Cheney served as U.S. Representative for Wyoming between 2017 and 2023. The seat was previously held by her father, Dick Cheney. Liz Cheney garnered attention in 2021 as one of few Republicans who voted to impeach President Donald Trump after the January 6, 2021 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. Cheney is the highest-ranking Republican woman in the history of the House. She dedicated this copy of her memoir Oath and Honor to William & Mary’s law students. The book provides a closer look at Cheney’s experiences on the U.S. House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack between 2021 and 2023.
