International Bridges to Justice in Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Abstract
This summer, Ally will support the work of International Bridges to Justice (IBJ) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, where the organization seeks to ensure that criminal defenders reach and respond to communities in need. IBJ focuses particularly on the issues of torture and lengthy pre-trial detention. During her internship, Ally will implement a UNDEF grant that promotes a new smartphone app connecting those accused of crimes with attorneys.
