U.S. Department of State Bureau of Political-Military Affairs in Washington, DC, USA
Abstract
I will be working for the Department of State's Political-Military Affairs Bureau. Specifically, I will be working in the branch that deals with legal arms transfers. My summer work will be a research project that involves creating a database of every legal arms transaction the United States has been involved in. I will be looking the history of the deal, reasons behind it, and legal decisions on the matter.
