Abstract

During the 7th Annual Originalism Symposium sponsored by the Virginia Student Chapter of the Federalist Society at the University of Virginia Law School, law professors Jonathan Adler and Jed Shugerman discuss the Supreme Court's Emergency Docket in the Arthur N. Rupe Debate. With Hon. Chad A Readler acting as moderator,  Adler and Shugerman debate whether the Supreme Court's deference to recent executive actions on the emergency docket is consistent with the separation of powers.
