Williamsburg, Feb. 7 -- An annual award for the best contribution to the William and Mary Review of Virginia Law has been established by the college's Law School Association.

According to Dr. Dudley W. Woodbridge, dean of the law school, the award will be given to the Marshall-Wythe Law School student who contributes the year's best case comment, note or article to the magazine. The award will consist of useful law books. The law school faculty will serve as judges.

The magazine has been published annually since 1949 by students and serves to provide an opportunity for student legal composition.

The award was authorized by the Law School Association's board of directors, of which R. Harvey Chappell, of Richmond, is president.
