When George Wythe was appointed Professor of Law in 1779, his classes moved from his home on Duke of Gloucester Street to the College of William and Mary, into what is presently known as the Sir Christopher Wren Building. Since then the law school had several homes, including the Old Gymnasium, James Blair Hall, the Camm Building of the Bryan Complex, and St. George Tucker Hall, before moving to its current location on South Henry Street in 1980.
