
In February 2008 Taylor Reveley became the Interim President of William & Mary, to later be sworn in as President. In his absence Lynda L. Butler became the Interim Dean and served in this capacity until Davison M. Douglas was appointed. Butler received a B.S. from the College of William & Mary in 1973 and a J.D. from the University of Virginia in 1978. She joined the faculty in 1979.
