<p><strong>William Bruce Martin</strong> (1846-1921) prepared an index of cases, rather than a digest, to all reported decisions of the Supreme Court of Appeals, the General Court, and the High Court of Chancery, of Virginia, as well as decisions of the Special Court of Appeals. The index is arranged alphabetically by subject area, and each heading is followed by related rules or points of law and citations to the cases asserting them.</p>
