William Lawrence Clark (1863-1918) published a number of hornbooks covering a wide variety of practice areas. His Handbook of the Law of Private Corporations (1897) covers the general rules and principles of corporate law, with special attention to unsettled areas of the law and to doctrines recently changed by corporate decisions. Clark's Handbook was published in West Publishing's Hornbook series, which includes several other titles held in the Wolf Law Library's Harris Collection.
