Theophilus Parsons (1797-1882) was a prolific author and legal scholar. From 1848 to 1870, he served as the Dane Professor of Law at Harvard. In each section of his Treatise on the Law of Partnership (1867), Parsons gives a statement of the law before providing illustrations and explanations through updated caselaw.
