<p><strong>William Lawrence Clark</strong> (1863-1918) published a number of hornbooks covering a wide variety of practice areas. His <em>Handbook of the Law of Private Corporations</em> (1897) covers the general rules and principles of corporate law, with special attention to unsettled areas of the law and to doctrines recently changed by corporate decisions. Clark's <em>Handbook</em> was published in West Publishing's Hornbook series, which includes several other titles held in the Wolf Law Library's Harris Collection.</p>
