<p><strong>Theophilus Parsons</strong> (1797-1882) was a prolific author and legal scholar. From 1848 to 1870, he served as the Dane Professor of Law at Harvard. In each section of his <em>Treatise on the Law of Partnership</em> (1867), Parsons gives a statement of the law before providing illustrations and explanations through updated caselaw.</p>
