<p><strong>Francis Buchanan Tiffany</strong>'s (1855-1936) <em>Hand-book on the Law of Sales</em> (1895) provides a summary of the general principles of the sale of personal property. Tiffany outlined black letter law and included case law from American and English courts, along with notes on interpretation. The treatise is a survey of laws related to contract formation, statute of frauds, performance, warranties, breach, and mistake. It was published as a part of West Publishing's Hornbook series, which includes several other titles held in the Wolf Law Library's Harris Collection.</p>
