<p><strong>William Lawrence Clark</strong>'s (1863-1918) <em>Hand-book of the Law of Contracts</em> (1894) compiles the general principles of contract law and supplies explanations and applications. It cites to recognized authorities and nearly 10,000 cases to outline the rules of law, providing on-point decisions from leading cases as well as illustrative dicta. Clark's Handbook was published in West Publishing's Hornbook series, which contains several of Clark's works in addition to others included in the Wolf Law Library's Harris Collection.</p>
